What we had to declare

  1. Blake says:

We also declared a stack of books on our return from three weeks in Europe. The Customs guard did an actual double-take, like he couldn’t believe it.

  2. steph says:

Is that a Persephone book on top? 🙂

I had a ton of books coming home; my suitcase was way overweight! Lots of time in charity shops will do that…

  3. Katherine says:

Love the look of the Persephone on top! And The Tortoise and the hare, and the Barbara Pym… All of these books look like they’re going to be fantastic reads, actually. i spent a week in England about a year and a half ago and walked away with about 25 books; not sure why i didn’t have to declare them.
