My video pitch for Barbara Pym

Jen Knoch’s book club is not only Keepin’ It Real, but they’re Keepin’ Toronto Reading too. I did my part for their effort, making a video pitch for Barbara Pym’s No Fond Return of Love. You can watch the video, and my series of bizarre facial expressions, here.

  1. Kate says:

Your video made me want to see you so badly. I miss you.

And it also made me want to read Barbara Pym. When I worked at a library, I never took out any Barbara Pym because I thought she was for old ladies. She might still be for old ladies (and tea drinkers) but you make her sound like only the most fun sort of old lady. Even Paul wants to read about vicars and rummage sales, now.
